Quadraxis, my favourite boss in any Metroid game, and among my top 5 favourite bosses in any game! For a school project, I spent about 6 hous or so, and I used Maya 7.0 to whip up this 3D model (no textures or renders, just modelling, shapes, and structure) of this mechanical monster from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.
This pic shows all four windows (Top, Front, Side, and 3D Perspective). The 2D planes show Quadraxis in wireframe mode, but in the 3D view, he's more solid. |

And yeah, Quadraxis is extremely challenging, and it took me about that long as well to beat him on Normal mode. Hard mode is a different story, although I did eventaully beat it...

Hard mode? I can imagine this guy is almost unbeatable in hard mode! I not even finished the normal mode...of both Metroid Prime games...
